BBC Radio International releases new audio content

BBC Radio International has announced its latest BBC audio content, available for in-flight entertainment libraries.

Radio International has cleared the rights for the latest installment of exclusive BBC Radio 2 In Concerts, presented by Jo Whiley.

Recorded live in the BBC’s Radio Theatre in November 2018, each concert lasts approximately one hour and includes artists such as Boy George & Culture Club, Cliff Richard, Emeli Sande, Ed Sheeran and Paul Weller.

Also available is the acclaimed and award-winning 10-part podcast series, Death in Ice Valley. Lasting up to 39 minutes, the podcast examines the mystery surrounding the 1970 discovery of the ‘Isdal Woman’ near Bergen, Norway.

To celebrate Andrew Lloyd-Webber’s 70th birthday, Radio 2 showcases his life and career, beginning with Michael Ball exploring the BBC’s archive for a collection of unique performances. As well as the music, Ball also features a number of rarely-heard interviews with Lloyd Webber dating from the 1970s to the present day. Andrew Lloyd-Webber … At The BBC – lasts just short of two hours.

Finally, there is the iconic BBC Proms 2018 which includes a celebration of the centenary anniversaries of the birth of Leonard Bernstein, the death of Claude Debussy and the armistice of the First World War
