Vietnam Airlines has selected Thales to equip its new Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner with AVANT IFE, becoming the first airline to fly the B787-10 with the IFE product in the Asia-Pacific region.
The agreement expands on the existing partnership between Vietnam Airlines and Thales – the airline has previously chosen the Thales AVANT IFE system for their A350-900 XWB and B787-9 aircraft. Thales also provides turn-key maintenance services on these aircraft in collaboration with VAECO.
The IFE solution will provide passengers of Vietnam Airlines with a choice of television series, the most recent feature films, music and games during their flight.
