TriaGnoSys is exhibiting at APEX, fresh on the news that is has just been acquired by Zodiac.
The German-based company, specialising in inflight connectivity and wireless entertainment and cabin systems, will become part of Zodiac Inflight Innovations (ZII), providing integrated connectivity with RAVE.
TriaGnoSys will provide access to inflight internet and GSM technology along with many other advanced communications technologies. TriaGnoSys managing director Axel Jahn said that Zodiac Aerospace is
now in a position to offer the complete cabin interior, including advances in seat and IFEC integration.
"Zodiac and TriaGnoSys are perfect partners," Jahn said. "From Zodiac's perspective they were missing connectivity as part of their portfolio, so it is a good fit.
"For us it means that we gain more capability and credibility, more than we could have achieved on our own. We now have access to Zodiac's full infrastructure, allowing us to innovate and undertake more research and development work."
"TriaGnoSys will remain a limited company, registered in Germany, and no changes in personnel are planned," Jahn said. "We just become part of the Zodiac mothership!"
