AIX: SIA to deploy personalised IFEC for 787-10 and A350

Following the delivery of Singapore Airlines' first A350 aircraft equipped with Panasonic's flagship in-flight entertainment and global connectivity systems, the airline has announced it is extending enhanced KrisWorld experience across its airline's entire 787-10 fleet and A350 Ultra-long-haul fleet.Singapore Airlines will be the launch customer for both fleets.Passengers will enjoy higher levels of personalisation via the Panasonic companion app, which when integrated with KrisWorld delivers unrivalled opportunities around passenger engagement and value delivery. The experience will also include the capability to provide broadband Internet services to passenger devices and the seatback, as well as mobile phone services.Paul Margis, president and chief executive officer of Panasonic Avionics said, "We are thrilled to extend our partnership with Singapore Airlines to their new medium haul and ultra-long-haul aircraft.
