Using Air Transat’s new CinePlus app, passengers on-board the airline’s Airbus A310 aircraft can now access in-flight entertainment (IFE) via their personal electronic devices (PEDs).
The app is available for download free of charge for both iOS and Android smartphones and tablets. It provides access to films, television shows and music via Air Transat’s in-flight Wi-Fi network. Passengers who haven’t downloaded the app before boarding can access the service through their internet browser following take-off.
Air Transat’s general manager, Jean-François Lemay commented, "We strive to provide a unique and friendly in-flight experience to our passengers, and are proud to offer them access to individual entertainment on board our Airbus A310 through their own personal devices."
The CinePlus app is currently available on international Air Transat flights to Europe and throughout the United States.
