Passengers on Air Serbia flights can now use AeroMobile’s connectivity service to roam on their mobile devices in-flight – making calls, sending texts and using the internet – just as they would abroad.
AeroMobile is a mobile network operator and has roaming agreements with Serbian operators including Telenor Serbia, VIP Mobile and Telekom Serbija. To access the service, passengers simply turn on their mobile device to connect to the network and are billed directly by their home mobile operator at international roaming rates.
AeroMobile is due to install its mobile network on 10 Air Serbia aircraft consisting of eight Airbus A319s and two A320s which serve destinations across Europe and the Middle East.
"We are delighted to be bringing AeroMobile connectivity to the Air Serbia fleet. Passengers are increasingly keen to use their mobile phones in-flight and we’re pleased Air Serbia has recognised the value of offering this service,” remarked Kevin Rogers, CEO of AeroMobile.
