Air Europa has chosen to retrofit its fleet of Boeing 737-800 aircraft with STG Aerospace’s (STG) liTeMood LED lighting.
Alberto Linés, Air Europa’s director of maintenance and engineering, commented, “As an existing customer of saf-Tglo photoluminescent lighting, we already held STG Aerospace in high regard. The simplicity and speed of installation was as impressive as the transformation of the cabin, and we’re now looking forward to offering our passengers an improved passenger experience with STG Aerospace’s market leading liTeMood LED cabin lighting system.”
“This is an excellent contract win for us, particularly since it was secured against strong competition,” stated Marcus Williams, STG Aerospace’s global sales and marketing director. “It’s always particularly satisfying when an existing customer like Air Europa shows their continued faith in us and this programme extends our liTeMood installations to another important European carrier.”
liTeMood is designed to deliver an enhanced cabin ambience, make a positive contribution to the well-being of passengers and achieve impactful brand differentiation for airlines. Installed during an overnight check using the aircraft’s existing mounting points, connectors and wiring, the solution is controlled via the existing flight attendant panel.
