Air China has ordered 2,500 CL3710 economy class seats from Recaro Aircraft Seating for their ten new Airbus A350 aircraft.
The airline is the launch customer for the A350 in Mainland China and the first flight took place on 14 August from Beijing to Shanghai. The airline will test it’s new A350 on domestic flights before introducing it on long-haul routes.
Recaro says the CL3710 offers Air China long-haul seating comfort for passengers in economy class, featuring a six-way adjustable headrest, newly developed footrest and articulated seat pan.
The seat also weighs less than 12 kilograms, which Recaro says ensures “efficient and economical flying.”
The CL3710 is Recaro’s bestseller with over 250,000 orders worldwide.
