Latvia’s airBaltic has reported a 12% rise in passengers for March 2017, compared to the same period a year earlier, with the airline carrying a total of 224, 921 passengers.
During the first three months of this year it transported a total of 588,768 passengers, it said. In March this year the airline operated a total of 3,667 flights, 14% more than in 2016, while the three-month figure totalled 10,160 flights.
airBaltic’s load factor, however, was down 4% to 68% in March 2017 compared to the prior year, and 66% for the first quarter of the year, while its 15-minute flight punctuality indicator reached 92.3% for March this year.
