Why this region?
As the second most connected region behind North America, with a rapidly rising penetration rate, the already lucrative Middle East IFEC market has exceptional growth potential.
Passenger expectations for in-flight entertainment and connectivity show no signs of respite, prompting airlines to invest continually in their passenger experience offerings. This is particularly apparent in the Middle East, widely recognised as a ‘trend-setting’ region in the IFEC space, with airlines typically more inclined to introduce the latest technologies before carriers in other regions.
As a result, Middle Eastern carriers are often seen as global leaders in the quality, diversity and efficiency of in-flight experience. IFEC market intelligence specialist Valour Consultancy expects this trend to continue, predicting the Middle East to be a “particularly strong adopter of both in-flight cellular and Wi-Fi connectivity” over the next decade, as in-flight mobile, Wi-Fi and IFE are deemed a “necessary part of the experience’”.
With a minimum of 1,600 Middle Eastern aircraft anticipated to be IFC-equipped by 2025, the region should be an integral part of your organisation’s business development strategy.
“With Dubai as the hub for Middle East aviation business, the Inflight Middle East event positions itself very well. You meet important airline representatives and decision makers from the region. KID, as an exhibitor and sponsor, is pleased to see the show growing and proud to be a part of it.”Marketing Manager, KID-Systeme, Inflight Middle East exhibitor
Why this event?
We are thrilled to once again partner with AIME, the only dedicated aircraft interiors event across North Africa and the Middle East.
The two-day exhibition provides the ideal platform for interiors suppliers, providers and buyers to network and establish new relationships in the region. Co-located with MRO Middle East at the Dubai World Trade Centre, AIME is a must-attend event delivering the latest innovations in aircraft interiors. Inflight is proud to add an additional dimension to the event, with a pavilion, workshop and awards dedicated to the IFEC community.
“Exhibiting in the Inflight Pavilion is a key opportunity to get our products and services in front of airlines in the region. At the Inflight Workshop, we welcome the chance to have an open dialogue about connectivity products and discuss how IFC will benefit the aviation industry as a whole.”

The 2017 edition featured 4,761 attendees – including 735 airline attendees – from 76 countries. With overall attendance up by 30% and a record number of delegates attending the Inflight Workshop, the event maintains a busy feel. Previous Inflight exhibitors have been quick to point to the quality of footfall, enjoying fruitful meetings with the region’s major and regional carriers. In fact, 22% of the Inflight delegates were senior airline representatives.
Attendance as a delegate to all three shows is free of charge, while Inflight Middle East offers a range of exhibition, sponsorship and participation opportunities tailored to your budget and marketing objectives.
