Put simply, Asia-Pacific is a region which cannot be ignored.

IATA’s 20 year passenger growth forecast (published in October 2016) expects 7.2 billion passengers to travel in 2035, almost double the volume of 3.8 billion travellers who took to the skies in 2016. The report outlined the Asia-Pacific region as the major force behind this heightened demand. In fact, it is expected to be the source of more than half the new passengers over the next 20 years.  The projected average annual growth rate of 4.7% will equate to an additional 1.8 billion annual passengers on routes to, from and within the Asia-Pacific region by 2035, producing an overall market size of 3.1 billion.

The unique Inflight event format has already been tried and tested in the dynamic Middle East region, with the event growing in size, stature and prestige since its introduction in 2013. We listened to our clients’ demands and identified the Asia-Pacific region as the most rapidly evolving and emerging market in the IFEC and cabin technology sector. Not surprising given IATA’s aforementioned predictions. It was therefore an easy decision to make Singapore, the hub of Asian aviation, the next destination for our regional Inflight event series.
