Horizon Air reports August traffic data
September 3, 2010Horizon Air has reported a 2.2% increase in traffic on a 1.1% decline in capacity compared to August 2009, resulting in a 2.7 percentage point increase in load factor to a record 81.9%.
Revenue passenger miles (RPMs) rose to 234 million from 229 million, while available seat miles (ASMs) dropped to 286 million from 289 million. Revenue passengers carried totalled 640,000, up 2.9% from August 2009’s figure of 622,000.
Horizon also reported that 80.5% of its flights arrived on time in August 2010, an 8.1 percentage point decrease compared to the 88.6% reported in August 2009.
