flydubai heads to Yekaterinburg

News : flydubai heads to Yekaterinburg August 30, 2010

flydubai will expand its network into the foothills of the Ural Mountains on 16 October, when it begins flights to the Russian city of Yekaterinburg.

Ghaith Al Ghaith, CEO of flydubai, commented, “Staying true to flydubai’s promise to offer new and interesting destinations, Yekaterinburg has much to attract both business and leisure travellers. Trade between Russia and the UAE has grown considerably in recent years and the addition of a direct air link with the commercially important city of Yekaterinburg will help strengthen the relationship between the two countries.”

The flydubai service to Yekaterinburg will operate twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 16 October, with flight FZ901 departing Dubai at 09:00 and arriving in Russia at 16:15 local time. The return flight FZ902 will depart Yekaterinburg at 17:15 and arrive in Dubai at 20:30.
