More RP Aero Systems E-190 door trainers for Virgin Blue
August 20, 2010RP Aero Systems has been awarded a contract by Virgin Blue to manufacture and install an Embraer 190 door trainer and an overwing exit trainer at the airline’s training centre in Sydney.
This brings the total number of E-190 trainers ordered by Virgin Blue from RP to five. The two new devices will augment the carrier’s existing training facilities and their purchase reflects the airline’s ongoing commitment to training in an expanding environment.
“The door trainer includes all the necessary functions to meet modern day training needs with added value such as auto-close, communication system and out-of-the-window visuals as standard," noted RP Aero Systems managing director, Stephen Foster.
