FARNBOROUGH 2010: Rockwell Collins primary flight control computer for CSeries
July 20, 2010Rockwell Collins is to supply the primary flight control computer (PFCC) and the attitude heading computer (AHC) for Bombardier Aerospace’s flybywire flight control system on the CSeries aircraft family.
“Bringing Rockwell Collins’ PFCC demonstrates our ability to advance mission-critical technology to the 100-149 passenger commercial market that this aircraft will serve,” noted Greg Irmen, vice-president and general manager, business and regional systems for Rockwell Collins.
The PFCC is an evolution of the Rockwell Collins Pro Line Fusion avionics system which was selected by Bombardier for the CSeries aircraft in July 2009.
