Cimber Sterling gets Lido/TakeOff up and running

News : Cimber Sterling gets Lido/TakeOff up and running June 22, 2010

Cimber Sterling is now optimising the performance of its flights and thus reducing costs following completion of the implementation of Lido/TakeOff from Lufthansa Systems.

Lido/TakeOff calculates the optimised takeoff data while taking into account factors such as outside temperature, air pressure, runway length and conditions, and final aircraft take-off weight. These calculations rely on the Lido Airport/Obstacle Data with respective Engine Out procedures (EOSIDs). Optimised takeoff thrust setting reduces the wear on the engine and its components, which results in a slower degradation of the engine's performance.
