flydubai lands in Istanbul

flydubai has completed its inaugural service to Turkey’s largest city, Istanbul.

Arriving at Istanbul’s Sabiha Gökçen International Airport, Ghaith Al Ghaith, flydubai’s CEO, commented, “Having a strong network is very important to the success of flydubai and we are delighted to be able to count Istanbul, the gateway to Europe, as our 18th destination. We would like to thank the Turkish authorities for their support in making this happen and look forward to continuing to work in partnership with them for the benefit of both our economies and the people travelling between our nations.”

Flights to Istanbul are operating five times a week, with FZ751 leaving Dubai at 18:55 and landing in Istanbul at 22:50. The return flight, FZ752, departs Sabiha Gökçen airport at 23:35 arriving in Dubai at 05:00 (all times local).
