AIX2010: Thales IFE to be offered on A350

AIRCRAFT INTERIORS 2010: Airbus has signed up Thales, with its next generation TopSeries IFE system, as a supplier of IFE systems for the A350 XWB.

“We are extremely proud to be selected for this aircraft,” remarked Alan Pellegrini, vice-president and general manager of Thales’s inflight entertainment business. “Our key objective for the A350 XWB TopSeries platform was to introduce our next generation technology that provides both passengers and airlines with dramatic enhancements in functionality, efficiency and reliability,”

The next generation TopSeries system was officially unveiled during the show in Hamburg.
