Swedish Government opts for airBaltic services

News : Swedish Government opts for airBaltic services April 29, 2010

airBaltic has been chosen by the government of Sweden in a procurement procedure for affordable flights on 99 routes to airports in Europe, Middle East, and the CIS.

Tero Taskila, chief commercial officer of airBaltic, commented, “We welcome the fact that the Swedish government has selected airBaltic for low prices and convenient connections just like the goverments of Finland, Denmark, Germany, Austria, Switzerland have done over the past year. We consider being chosen by the governments for affordable and convenient flights as a sign of appreciation by our customers.”

The agreement between airBaltic and the Swedish government will take effect on 1 June and offer public sector employees from 265 government bodies and agencies affordable travel on 99 routes in business and economy class to destinations such as Amman, Beirut, Dubai, Brussels, Frankfurt, Belgrade, Moscow, Tbilisi.
