News : JetBlue announces flights from Washington National to Boston and Florida April 28, 2010

JetBlue Airways says it plans to serve Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA), its third airport in the Washington region, with seven daily nonstop flights to Boston Logan and one daily nonstop flight each to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood and Orlando International beginning on 1 November 2010.

DCA will be JetBlue's 62nd destination. The carrier also serves the region with service from Washington Dulles (IAD) and Baltimore/Washington (BWI). With the addition of DCA's seven daily shuttle flights to Boston – complementing five daily nonstop flights from BWI and six daily flights between Boston and IAD – JetBlue will be offering 18 departures between Boston and the Washington DC region.

"JetBlue's customer-centric approach to serving all three capital-area airports focuses on fair fares, more choices and a conveniently-timed business-day schedule to Boston," declared Robin Hayes, executive vice-president and chief commercial officer of JetBlue Airways.

JetBlue will operate service from the Terminal A complex at Washington National.
