Pegasus Airlines and IZair select LSY’s Lido flight planning
July 19, 2011Pegasus Airlines and its wholly-owned subsidiary IZair, have chosen Lido/Flight from Lufthansa Systems (LSY) to optimise their flight planning processes.
The airlines and the IT provider recently signed a five-year contract covering the implementation of the solution. LSY says that being chosen by Pegasus Airlines, a major low-fare carrier, demonstrates the suitability of Lido/Flight for all kinds of business models as it will enable Pegasus to benefit from optimum flight routes and thus considerable fuel and cost savings.
Pegasus Airlines and IZair currently offer scheduled and charter flights to more than 100 different destinations in 22 countries.
