Frontier to launch Denver–Rockford service
July 11, 2011Frontier Airlines plans to add nonstop service between Denver (DEN) and Rockford, Illinois (RFD) to its route map, operating three days a week from 15 December.
Service will be provided with 138-seat Airbus A319s and will make Frontier the only airline offering nonstop service on the route.
“We're very happy to add Rockford to the growing list of mid-sized cities getting the full benefits of Frontier's low-fare, high-value service,” declared Daniel Shurz, vice-president of strategy and planning for Frontier.
