News : PARIS 2011: Korean Air orders 10 Bombardier CS300s January 1, 1970

Korean Air has signed an agreement to acquire 10 Bombardier CS300s with an additional 10 options and 10 purchase rights.

Bombardier Commercial Aircraft president, Gary Scott, commented, “We’re changing the number of customers pretty significantly. This is a marquee custoemer, and our first in Asia, so Korean Air becomes the launch customer for the region.

“I sincerely believe this announcement will be the beginning of a steady partnership,” remarked Walter Cho, senior vice-president, Korean Air.

Korean Air currently operates a fleet of 136 passenger and cargo jet aircraft to 112 cities in 39 countries. The CS300 aircraft will enter into service in 2014.
