Goodrich chooses SafTGlo for ARJ and MRJ programmes
April 7, 2011STG Aerospace is to supply its SafTGlo photoluminescent (PL) floorpath lighting systems to Goodrich, which will incorporate the product into the COMAC (Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China) ARJ21 and both models in the Mitsubishi Regional Jet (MRJ) family.
SafTGlo floorpath marking systems ‘store’ and simultaneously emit light giving highly visible emergency exit guidance for up to 16 hours in darkness, after a short period of ‘charging’ with normal cabin lighting.
Franz-Josef Beermann, managing director, Goodrich Lighting Systems commented, “These supply agreements build on the relationship we have established with STG since 2009. We believe customers for these two new aircraft will appreciate the benefits of SafTGlo.”
